About Abi

Having known from an early age that she wanted to become a vet, Abi graduated from the University of Bristol's Veterinary School in 1998.

Since then Abi has worked in a number of veterinary practices in London, Western Australia, Cambridgeshire, Essex and Hertfordshire, gaining a wealth of experience in small animal general medicine and surgery.  An interest in acupunture developed over several years after observing its beneficial effects on several of her patients, and in 2015 she completed acupuncture training with the Association of British Veterinary Acupuncturists, enabling her to start treating her own patients.

Abi lives in Buntingford, Hertfordshire with her husband and 3 children, and is currently working part time in small animal general practice, as well as offering acupuncture to pets in their own homes through AR Veterinary Acupuncture.
